I am filled with fear and trembling today, dear readers. Apparently my parents (and possibly my uncle and aunt) have discovered my blog site. Dear lord. Already the parental criticisms have begun to flow regarding my agnostic rant last Friday (about wanting a 3 day weekend for Easter despite my lack of religious faith). Oh well. This is my blog, and the stuff on it is stuff from my brain. T'ain't always pretty, but I'm writing it for me and no one else, because most days I'm not sure if anyone else is reading it. I'm just glad that Friday's rant wasn't about whiskey and strip clubs.
The weekend was pretty nice. I did a great deal of sleeping, cleaned the house and mowed the grass, watched some movies with Griego, had Easter brunch with the Wilsons, recorded guitars and vocals with mixmaster Gottula for some Mono E tracks, and had a fish fry last night with the Wilsons, Andy, and Rami. I had a short lunch with Jennifer today. I think we're both pretty stressed out with our jobs.
We got a new receptionist up at the office today. Her name is Christy, and she seems pretty nice so far. Via con dios, Elf! (the old receptionist)
Not feeling too well today. I fear that this beautiful spring weather is creating some allergy problems for ol' Steanso.
Also, Erin is supposed to be in town this week, on a jaunt out from L.A. to visit her family, but I haven't heard from her. Maybe she will pop her head up this week for a cocktail or something.

If mom and Dad couldn't keep out of my sock drawers, what made you think they wouldn't get all up into your blog?

The League mocks both the shame of parental intrusion and the fact that mom and dad can't quit snooping into the life of their 32 year old son.

i agree with ryan, possibly for the first time ever (man was he wrong about suck-ass peanut butter and jeremy)..

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAH...

of course at some point jason's doting parents would do a search for their second favorite son (Jason Richard), or their thrid favorite (Ryan ???) and steanso's blog would pop up. At least they arent posting pictures of you and ryan dressed up as wonder woman/ tigra together. so what if they see your political or (a)religiious rants? at least its not those pictures of you with madonna and prince and michael j*.

on a new note, crackbass has removed himself from possibly buying steanso's dad's car. i think all in all this is a good thing. asmuch as i am sure it is in pristine condition, and also probably a good deal, steanso seemed nervous to be between a transaction between two negotaiting SOB's (no offense to my mom or steanso's g-mom). also, i really didnt want to make steanso uncomfortable by forcing him to ride in a car his folks have obviously "known" each other in. in the Biblical sense. im talking about them doing it in the maxima at the rest stop in smithville (on the way to austin) people.

crack practiced tonight, for the first time in a while. it was lots o fun. Lots. Crackbass semi-wrote a new song (stolen from the silverjews) and Steanso made it into a real song. dont let the agnostic self deprecation fool you, kids...Steanso is a real musical virtuoso. as our tromboner has stated on numerous occasions, "we wouldn't even be making noise without steans." but that comment belittles his contribution. he is one hell of a musician. he makes our life fun. so does andy, but in a bloodier, more cork-ish way.

sorry, ive made the comment page a blog of my own. hell, if that peanut butter and suck worshipping ryan can redirect us to his blog, i should be able to rant in the comment section.

right?

I am not surprised that Jason is holding your band together. After all, I understand the basics of how gravity works.

That boy loves the music as demonstrated by his dictatorial attitude toward his car stereo.
