It's Monday and Steanso is already tired and very busy at work. Virtually no time for blogging. Feeling a little run down and worn out, which is weird because my weekend was pretty relaxing. I wonder if I'm fighting something off (or if some new allergen has entered the air- the allergens in Austin are definitely one of this town's most drastic flaws. For the enviromental harm that my body seems to suffer on a constant basis, I might as well be working in a coal mine).

Hopefully the Admiral has returned from his trip.
Hopefully Mel is recovering well from surgery and Erin is doing ok with her job search.

There was story on NPR about how, in the mid-20th century, arborists decided that it was easier to clean up plant pollen rather than plant seeds. (Male plants produce pollen and female plants produce seeds.)

So part of why people have such terrific allergic reactions may be because an estimated 90% of trees planted in cities are male while 10% are harmless female plants.

The Admiral has survived a five day tour of eight factories, three Edmonton, Canada and five in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Tis good to be home!
