Hello.
Last night I had dinner at Threadgill's with Ryan, Jamie, and our friend, Nicole. It was good to see Nicole. It had been a while (it was good to see Team Steans, too, although I see them a bit more frequently).
Tonight Mono Ensemble is playing at Alligator Grill (on South Lamar) from 5:00 until 7:00 for a happy hour benefit for Texas Advocacy Project, which gives legal support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They're selling tickets (including at the door) for $25, and all of the proceeds go to TAP. Come on out to hear us rock and support a good cause!
Got a phone message from my dad this morning. Apparently Mom's trip to Kenya is going well. He talked to her on the phone and she said that they've fitted more than 600 people already for eyeglasses at the clinic where she's working. He said she sounds happy. So that's really good!
Well, short post today because I'm really busy. Maybe more later if I have time. If not, I hope to see some of you at the gig tonight!
