Well, it's hump day. Hooray! Last night I ate some Chinese food with Team Steans and ran into Court 4 superintern Kenlyn Powers while at Suzi's. The food was good and the company was nothing short of fantabulous. Today is going to be a big day for Team Steans. Roundball has 2 interviews, and today Fort Roundball is supposed to get hot water and cable TV.
Also last night I tried to watch some episodes of Dog with Mandy and Kellie, but the episodes were reruns, so we ended up watching Showgirls- a truly terrrible movie. Terrible movies are normally right up my alley, but somehow I had never seen it before. In keeping with conventional wisdom about the flick, Showgirls was truly bad, which in turn made it pretty entertaining. We were watching it on basic cable, so they couldn't even show boobs (one of the few redeeming features of the film from a male viewpoint, I guess), but they had these little photoshopped bras painted onto the girls whenever they were topless in a scene. Fascinating. I'd like to make a movie where all of the actors perform the whole movie nude and then we digitally go back and add clothes on later. The clothes could keep changing to express little clues about the inner lives of the characters. It's the wave of the future, I tell ya.
Anyway, Mandy fell asleep, and I couldn't justify staying up through midnight to catch the end of Showgirls, so I stumbled back across the street where I goofed around on the 'puter for awhile until it was time for bed. And that was Tuesday.
