Not a lot to post on since I posted last night. I woke up this morning to the bizarre, alien sound of raindrops falling on my roof. It's true, Adventurers- we had genuine water falling from the sky here in Austin this morning. Of course, it didn't rain hard and it didn't rain all that long, but at least we got a bit of honest to goodness rain.
Also, we here at The Adventures would like to take a moment to mourn the death of Crocodile Hunter Steve Erwin. I spent a lot of time watching the Crocodile Hunter, mostly with my brother, Roundball, and laughing at his antics as he wrestled alligators, chased snakes, and captured lizards with his bare hands. Steve Erwin was a true animal lover and wildlife conservation advocate, and his exuberance was contagious. He died doing what he loved, but he's gonna be missed by a lot of people (especially kids, who I think could probably relate to Erwin's enthusiasm on a visceral level).
Not a lot else going on. Just grabbing a quick lunch before having to head back to court for jail call this afternoon. Hope all's well with you guys.

gzpsigThe world has lost an irreplaceable link between man, and our Animal Planet in the sudden demise of Steve Erwin. I know more about Brown snakes and marsupials than I do Garter snakes and feral cats,
because of Steve's TV shows. My hearts' out to his
wife and young kids.

Incigently, Feral Andy does a great impression of Steve, if you can get him to do do it for you. Steve would get a hoot out of Andy doing Steve.

By the way, when are the Adventurers coming back to Wimberley?

Truly a momentous occasion when Dick Sensat appears on the blog, Adventurers! The posse definitely need to roll to Wimberbley soon. Look forward to seeing you.

First Pluto and now Steve. It messes with my perception of the natural world.
